Police Week 2023
Where to find us, what are we doing?
By Kevin Smith - May 9, 2023
“My partner left my helmet on top of the truck”
"My helmet got stolen last night"
“My visor broke”
These are just some of the stories that we have heard over the last ten years of participating in Police Memorial Week. We often get asked “Why do you go to Police Week?” We go to Police Week to support the motorcycle officers that have traveled thousands of miles to be there for the families of officers killed in the line of duty. Sometimes helmets get lost or stolen and pads need to be replaced. Super Seer will be on the ground in DC to help support our police motorcycle officers. We will also be handing out memorial patches to remember those motorcycle officers who died in the Line of Duty in 2022.
We are packed with extra helmets, visors, rank bands, pads, liners, cool caps and spare parts. During Police Week, if you or someone you know needs help with their helmet, please message us using our social media accounts and we will take care of you!
At Super Seer, we support our men and women in law enforcement
. We believe that it is important to give back, and Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.) is an incredible organization that is devoted to helping the surviving families and co-workers of law enforcement officers who have lost their life in the Line-of-Duty. For many years, Super Seer has worked with C.O.P.S. in the past, but this project was different. Steve and Kevin Smith were approached by C.O.P.S. with a unique idea to create a custom remembrance helmet for Police Week 2023.
This custom special edition helmet was a collaborative effort between Super Seer Corporation and Dave Designs. Steve and Kevin Smith of Super Seer approached Dave Mata of Dave Designs, based in Spain, with a design concept to incorporate elements of Police Memorial Week onto a Super Seer motorcycle helmet. Dave and his team at Dave Designs took the design concept and created a masterpiece. This special edition helmet was specifically designed for C.O.P.S. to honor our fallen brothers and sisters in May 2023. This one-of-a-kind, hand-painted helmet is a stand-alone silent auction opportunity with the funds raised being used to directly support survivors through C.O.P.S. healing hands-on programs. The official helmet will be on display throughout National Police Week 2023 at the Washington Hilton (Survivor Host Hotel). Stop by and see the helmet in person and hear all about what C.O.P.S. is doing to help the surviving familes during Police Memorial Week.
