18th Annual Gulf Coast Police Motorcycle Skills Championship

We've saved the best for last!

By Kevin Smith - November 5, 2016

For 18 years motorcycle officers from all over North America have gathered in Baton Rouge, LA for training and competition in order to sharpen their skills as motorcycle officers. At the conclusion of the Gulf Coast Police Motorcycle Skills Championship the award of Mr. Rodeo is given to the top overall rider. Usually this award comes with bragging rights and a trophy.

For 2016 the title of Mr. Rodeo will be awarded. The top overall rider this year will not get a trophy, but instead they will win the 2016 Cpl. C. Metternich Mr. Rodeo Helmet, donated by Seer Helmets. This award is a custom helmet manufactured by Super Seer Helmets that features the 2016 Mr. Rodeo helmet badge, Dream Day Foundation logo, Gulf Coast Police Motorcycle Championships logo, and the Cpl. C. Metternich Award 2016 lettering.

The 2016 Mr. Rodeo helmet will be on display at the Super Seer Helmet booth during the Gulf Coast Police Motorcycle Campionship during November 8th - 12th in Gonzales, LA. The Mr. Rodeo helmet will be awarded to the top overall rider during the awards banquet on Saturday, November 12th.
