The Seer Lazer-Shield effectively protects police officers from the growing threat of laser beam attacks during protests. The laser face shield is a universal self-adhesive protective strip that reduces a green, blue or violet laser beam from 1 Watt to a harmless 1/1000 Watt.
Super Seer's Lazer-Shield Kit creates universal protection that fits onto any face or body shield for highly effective immediate protection from laser beam attacks. New face or body shields can be Lazer-Shielded or law enforcement agencies can purchase a retrofit kit for existing equipment.
The Lazer-Shield allows for a clear unobstructed field of view. When under attack from a laser beam, the officer simply dips their head forward to activate the Lazer-Shield protection. This action allows an officer to safely look though the Lazer-Shield directly into a laser beam to identify the attacker, without the risk of permanent eye damage.

The laser safety for face shields is installed just about the officers line of sight. This allows the officer to look through the clear laser eye shield during nighttime operations, without any vision distortion.

Lazer-Shield is most beneficial during night ops. The Lazer-Shield gives the officer a clear, un-obstructed field of view. The laser beam protection is immediately available only when needed.
Other laser beam strips, glasses, and filters require the officer to look through a dark tinted laser protection film continuously. This causes eye strain and vision distortion, especially during night ops. These products also cause issues for officers with prescription glasses.
The Lazer-Shield far surpasses any other laser protective product as tested from a distance of 2 yards for a period of 10 seconds against multiple laser beam wavelengths (colors). The science is fully supported by world-class laser experts. During laboratory tests, the laser face shield reduced the laser beam from an extremely harmful 1 Watt to harmless 1/1000 Watt.
Eye exposure from a green laser beam was reduced to 1.0mW resulting in an Optical Density (OD) of >OD3.5. Similarly, a 5 Watt laser was reduced to 5mW which is the US 3R classification limit for safe eye exposure.
The Lazer-Shield protects against green (532nm), blue (450nm) and violet (405nm) laser beams wavelengths. Red light is allowed to pass through the strip which allows the use of Red Dot sights on weapons.
